It didn't start as a business.
Pupolly didn't start as a business plan. It started with a dog who stopped being himself.
He wasn't sick, exactly. Just quieter. Picking at meals he used to inhale. Sleeping through afternoons. Less interested in the walks he'd normally drag us out for. Nothing you could point at. Everything slightly off. We changed the food, then changed it back, tried the powders and the chews and the paste in the tube — and in between, did a lot of waiting to see if this week looked better than the last.
Your dog can't describe what's wrong or tell you when something helped. You're making decisions for someone you love on incomplete information, and hoping you chose right. Anyone who's sat on a kitchen floor at 2am with a dog who won't settle knows exactly how that feels.
So we stopped guessing and started reading.
